Offer Description
Tasks to be performed:
We are looking for a Research Support position – Software engineer.
The main goal of this position is to continue the development of VIDAA to add advanced functionalities such as realistic device deployment, connection of the web-based interface to cloud-based processing of the data, or visualisation of fluid simulation results, among others.
Dedication and working hours: Full time (35h/week)
Planned remuneration approx: 34.826,60 € gross / year
Financing fund: Proyecto PRESP05522 - AEI-PDC2022-133779-I00 - Cámara, Oscar - Aceleración de la transferencia tecnológica y explotación de herramientas computacionales para la planificación de la oclusión de la orejuela izquierda financiado por MCIN/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033 y por la Unión Europea NextGenerationEU/ PRTR, project that ends on 30/11/2024.

Requirements

- Education Level
- Master Degree or equivalent
- MSc Computational Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience in front-end development (e.g., HTML5; ideally also ReactJS).
- Basic knowledge in back-end framework (e.g, Python, ideally also in Docker, mongoDB).
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
Candidates must have excellent teamwork and communication skills and be enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse range of partners.
The expected start date is January 15th, 2024, the job is in Barcelona, and Nie and a work permit is required.
Additional Information
Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:
- Academic Training (0-20 points).
- Professional experience and Adequacy to the proposed profile (0-60 points):
- Proven experience in the development of machine learning algorithms for echocardiographic data analysis.
- Knowledge in UI/UX design.
- Other merits (0-20 points). Teamwork and communication skills.
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 85 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
