Offer Description
The researcher will design and synthesize H-bonded supramolecular magnetic materials based on coordination compounds and organic functional co-ligands. The researcher will carry out the characterization of the new materials, especially through single crystal X-ray diffraction and mass spectrometry. The researcher will assess the magnetic properties of the materials through temperature-dependence magnetometry. The researcher will evaluate the photoactivity of the materials through spectroscopic measurements, as well as photomagnetic studies. The researcher will evaluate the emission properties of the materials via fluorescence spectroscopy. The researcher will present the results in national and international conferences and write the corresponding research papers. |

Synthetic skills in coordination chemistry and organic chemistry (air sensitive and Schlenk line techniques).
Spectroscopic characterization (NMR, IR).
Magnetometry characterization.
Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data collection and structure resolution.
Fluorescence spectroscopy.
Experience on molecular magnetism, spin-crossover and supramolecular chemistry. |

Duration of the contract of employment: the contract is for a duration of 1 year (with the possibility of extension till the end of the project)
