The platform consists of a sensor embedded in an active implantable medical device and a portable external system to wirelessly power and communicate with it. This project builds on the work developed during the last years for the development and validation of injectable microstimulators for neuroprosthetics that are powered and operated by a novel wireless power transfer method (eAXON).
We are seeking a Biomedical Engineer to help in the development and validation of the microsensing platform, which includes an implantable microsensor, a portable external system and a delivery system. You will work closely together with the rest of the FORESEE team (Electronics and Biomedical Engineers) to make this microsensor a clinical reality.
