Offer Description
Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics Group, Division of Theoretical Physics Rudjer Boskovic Institute is looking for a PhD student for work on the project "Extending length and time scales of first principles material modelling via machine learning".

MSc in natural sciences; overall grade point average at the previous levels of study (undergraduate and graduate, i.e. integrated studies) which ensures admission to doctoral studies.
Preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge of physics/chemistry of materials, computer skills (Linux, Python), and experience in modeling materials from first principles or with experience in using machine learning techniques.
