Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 522934), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in molecular biology, protein purification, stem cell biology, genome engineering, neuroscience, structural biology, or fluorescence microscopy, with excellent experimentation and communication skills. Experience in cell imaging or single-molecule fluorescence microscopy will be a plus.

The appointee will work jointly with Dr. Jeff Ti and Dr. Ralf Jauch on a collaborative research project to investigate how human tubulin isotypes regulate neuronal morphology and functions in health and disease.  Dr. Ti’s Lab will employ single-molecule fluorescence and electron microscopy to dissect the molecular basis that confers diverse human tubulin isotypes' unique and essential functions.
