Offer Description
Two positions of scientific-technical personnel with indefinite contract for the performance of scientific-technical activities, for the execution of the research line of the Interactive Technologies Group which is specific of the European projects MAX-R and EMERALD, in accordance with article 23 bis of Law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation, is hereby called.
Number of positions: 2.
Tasks to be performed:
Research and innovation in topics related with open source tools for creating eXtended Reality (XR) in XR, and with 3D virtual characters (modelling and animation) including machine learning techniques.
These tasks are framed in WP3-4-5 of MAX-R; WP4 and WP6 for EMERALD.
Dedication and working hours: Part time (30h/week)
Planned remuneration approx: 23.864,42 € gross / year
Financing fund: PREUR01122 - HEu-CL4-MAX-R-101070072-J.Blat, projecte “Mixed Augmented and eXtended Reality media pipeline”, Horizon Europe (2021-2027).
This position is funded by the EUROPEAN UNION, Program Horizon Europe (2021-2027).
Atès que aquest contracte es finançarà mitjançant una consignació extrapressupostària conseqüència d’ingressos externs de caràcter finalista, es podrà extingir per causes objectives per insuficiència d’aquesta consignació per al manteniment d’aquest contracte, de conformitat amb l’article 52.e de l’Estatut dels Treballadors.

- Graduat en enginyeria en sistemes audiovisuals o informàtica; o estar en disposició de ser-ho en el moment d’inici del contracte.
- Experiència en projectes de programació de gràfics interactius 3D complexos.
The expected start date is September 17th, 2023, the job is in Barcelona, and Nie and a work permit is required.
Additional Information
The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:
The selection committee uses several indicators to evaluate the applicant’s:
1. Academic Training (0-20 points).
2. Professional Experience /Adequacy to the proposed profile ( 0-60 points):
- Experience in real-time 3D graphics, within European projects or in companies, and in particular in extended or virtual reality rendering, realistic simulations, or character animation. Training in Machine Learning.
- Competencies: ability to work in a team, autonomy, responsibility...
3. Other merits (0-20 points):
- Languages: high level of English for written and oral communication.
- Development of complete projects.
- Knowledge of Vulkan, WebGPU and web environments.
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job and in case of resignation, the position will be awarded to the next person in order of score obtained, as long as the established minimum score has been passed.
