Offer Description
Tasks to be performed: Candidate will work on the implementation of a data pipeline to create synthetic data from real CVs. The task involves cleaning, processing, and parsing real CVs as well as storing and modeling textual data. This work is completely contained within Task T2.1 of WP2 as described in FINDHR's Grant Agreement ("textual job application materials, such as CVs and profiles synthetically constructed from donated data").
The duration of these tasks is estimated for a period of 3 months.
Planned remuneration approx: 9.276,76 € gross/year.
Financing fund: PREUR02522 - HEu-CL4-FINDHR-101070212-C.Castillo, project FINDHR “Fairness and Intersectional Non-Discrimination in Human Recommendation”, grant agreement No 101070212. This position is funded by the EUROPEAN UNION, Program: Horizon Europe (2021-2027).

- 1 year of experience processing data doing data analysis tasks using the Python programming language required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required (minimum B1).
The expected start date is September 20th, 2023, the job is in Barcelona, and Nie and a work permit is required.
Additional Information
The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:
- Academic training in data science, including courses on probabilities, statistics, machine learning, and/or data processing (0-20 points)
- Previous experience processing data using the Python programming language (0-60 points)
- Previous experience in research-related tasks or research support tasks (0-20 points)
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70/100 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job and in case of resignation, the position will be awarded to the next person in order of score obtained, as long as the established minimum score has been passed.
