Offer Description
A position of scientific-technical personnel with indefinite contract for the performance of scientific-technical activities, for the execution of the research line of the Center for Brain and Cognition, in accordance with article 23 bis of Law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation, is hereby called.

Tasks to be performed:
Project manager of the Center for Brain And Cognition. Collaborate in the monitoring and control of project budgets, prepare reports, justifications and give support to researchers. Assist in data analysis for the team, collaborate in experiments, recruit participants and send them to the computational cluster of the group, supervising its operation.
The financing of these tasks is expected to take 15 months.
Atès que aquest contracte es finançarà mitjançant una consignació extrapressupostària conseqüència d’ingressos externs de caràcter finalista, es podrà extingir per causes objectives per insuficiència d’aquesta consignació per al manteniment d’aquest contracte, de conformitat amb l’article 52.e de l’Estatut dels Treballadors.
Planned remuneration approx: 42.390,68 € gross/year
Dedication and working hours: Full time (35h/week)
Requirements

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- More than four years’ experience in a research support position in a computational/cognitive neuroscience research center or lab(s).
- More than four years’ experience assisting computational/cognitive neuroscience researchers with scientific and administrative tasks in large, EU projects and national projects.
- High level of English.
- Able to start 1 October 2023.
The expected start date is October 1st, 2023, the job is in Barcelona, and Nie and a work permit is required.
Additional Information
The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:
- Academic Training (0-20 points).
- Professional experience and Adequacy to the proposed profile (0-60 points):
- Experience working in a research support position providing support to cognitive and computational neuroscience Principal Investigators in a University research center.
- Experience with research support for large, collaborative EU projects and national projects.
- Experience with project management, scientific/technical and administrative coordination: monitor and control of project budget, reporting to funding agencies, organize data/datasets.
- Other merits (0-20 points):
- High English skills, both written and spoken.
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job and in case of resignation, the position will be awarded to the next person in order of score obtained.
