Offer Description
The main goal of this position is to continue the development of VIDAA to add advanced functionalities such as realistic device deployment, connection of the web-based interface to cloud-based processing of the data, or visualisation of fluid simulation results, among others. Moreover, the candidate will be responsible for processing cases from the clinical collaborators that are helping to design VIDAA, e.g., physicians and researchers from Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain), Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona, Spain), Hospital Puerta del Mar (Cádiz, Spain), and Righospitalet (Copenhagen, Denmark), among others.
Financing fund: Proyecto PRESP05522 - AEI-PDC2022-133779-I00 - Cámara, Oscar - Aceleración de la transferencia tecnológica y explotación de herramientas computacionales para la planificación de la oclusión de la orejuela izquierda financiado por MCIN/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033 y por la Unión Europea NextGenerationEU/ PRTR, projecte que finalitza el 30/11/2024.
Planned remuneration approx: 27.841,78 € gross / year
Requirements

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Engineer with an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines.
- Experience in front-end development (e.g., HTML5; ideally also ReactJS). Basic knowledge in back-end framework (e.g, Python, ideally also in Docker, mongoDB).
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Candidates must have excellent teamwork and communication skills and be enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse range of partners.
- (Nice to have) Knowledge in UI/UX design.
The expected start date is September 1st, 2023, the job is in Barcelona, and Nie and a work permit is required.

The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:

3. Other merits (0-20 points): Admitted candidates will be contacted for an interview (virtual) in which the motivation, the proactive behaviour, the capacity to work collaboratively, the organizational skills, the communication skills, and the capacity to engage in a discussion and manage problems, will be assessed.
The final decision will be the result of a consensus of an evaluation committee that will consider the results. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
