Offer Description

Position for candidates with a PhD in Computational Chemistry and it will be considered positive postdoctoral experience in different lines of research in this area. The position is linked to the Institute of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of the University of Barcelona formed by about 40 permanent researchers and a total of about 100 researchers. The main work will focus on the introduction and implementation of electronic structure calculation programs using Quantum Computing. Also, a study of optimization of the computational resources of the Institute will be carried out, especially in new computational techniques, both at hardware and software level. It is essential to have knowledge of programming languages and also to know computer architectures in this area of work.
