YOUR TEAM
The Photonic Nanomaterials research line is looking for one Postdoctoral scientist to develop novel light-emitting devices exploiting micro- or nano-fabrication tools combined with colloidal nanocrystals. The Photonic Nanomaterials research line, coordinated by Dr. Francesco Di Stasio, is part of the Nanomaterials research domain. The current aim of the research line is to fabricate novel small-footprint light-emitting devices based on both single semiconductor nanocrystal and relative ensembles, thus obtaining quantum or miniaturized classical light-sources.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
Develop novel device fabrication techniques based on multi-functional substrates obtained via lithography,
Control deposition of colloidal nanocrystals from solution via capillary-assembly
Characterization of the obtained devices.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE
- Eligible applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, Electronic Engineering or related fields.
The ideal candidate has experience in working in a clean-room environment, electron-beam and optical lithography, electrical or optical characterization.
Excellent English communication skills, creativity and independent thinking are mandatory.

Cleanroom experience (lithography, evaporation, sputtering, etc...)
