The Research Instruments Group, consisting of four teams, is in charge of the operation, maintenance and upgrade of the core experimental equipment and system at RI Beam Factory (RIBF) including BigRIPS in-flight separator and Zero-degree and SAMURAI spectrometers. In addition, the Group conducts research on RI beam production using the core experimental equipment and technology development thereof. The Group is the driving force behind continuous and effective enhancement of research activities at and international competitiveness of RIBF.

Job description:
The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Data System Team in the Research Instruments Group and candidate will work on the TRIP use case "Prediction and Control of Elemental Transformations" promoted by the Nishina Center for Accelerator Science. The successful candidate will be in charge of designing and constructing the data acquisition and detector system, conducting the experiment, and data analysis for the TRIP experiments.
