The position meets the teaching and research needs of the History degree programs for the History, Archival, Archeology and Art History undergraduate programs of the Department of International Studies and Contemporary History.
Candidates for the post of teaching assistant must have a degree in history.
For the assistant position for an indefinite period, it is mandatory to hold a doctorate in the field of the position for which you are applying.
Candidates for a vacant position must have a scientific record consistent with the specified scientific field and the description of the position for which they are applying, respectively with the research specialization provided in the competition announcement.

Selection process

Competition tests, date, time and place of taking them (Faculty/Institute address and room)
The first stage will be that of evaluating the individual files of the candidates.
Written test: The written exam will take place on June 29, 2023, from 9:00 a.m., Faculty of History and Philosophy, Department of International Studies and Contemporary History, str. M. Kogălniceanu no. 1, floor III, room 310.
Oral test: Presentation of a seminar project in Romanian, on June 29, 2023, 11:00 a.m., Faculty of History and Philosophy, Department of International Studies and Contemporary History, str. M. Kogălniceanu no. 1, floor III, room 310.
The individual file, the oral test and the written test count in equal proportions to the final mark awarded in the individual evaluation report drawn up by each member of the competition committee.
The competition committee determines the title for the oral test and announces it to the candidate/candidates 48 hours before the oral test/lecture, by e-mail and by posting it on the faculty's website, mentioning the date and time of posting, under the signature of the president of the competition committee .

Additional comments

The written test will start at 9:00 a.m. in room 310. The oral test will take place in the same room starting at 11:00 a.m. Each candidate, in alphabetical order, supports a seminar project of at least 30 minutes (lecture), based on the title communicated by the competition committee. Based on the minutes, the commission notes the support and establishes the hierarchy of the competition by corroborating the results of the written test, with that of the public lecture and with the evaluation of the candidate/candidates file, each of which is reflected in equal proportions in the final grade.
