Your Responsibilities
Research in the field of molecular reactions, photochemical processes and manipulation of single molecules on surfaces with scanning probe microscopy at the limits of spatial and temporal resolution
Participation in projects and ongoing research in the Single Molecule Chemistry group
Support of students at the bachelor/master/doctoral level
Developing innovative research ideas for application to competitive funding bodies
Preparation of research articles for publication in high impact journals
Maintenance, development and upgrade of existing experimental infrastructure
Conception and delivery of teaching courses in the area of physical chemistry
Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
PhD (or equivalent) in chemistry or physics
Specialisation in the field of scanning probe methods
Experience with ultrahigh vacuum
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
High motivation and scientific excellence
Independent way of working
Ability to work in a team
