MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 Call Information Webinar Series - Session 1: Overview and Eligibility Rules

The UK Research Office (UKRO), in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), will be holding a series of information webinars for organisations and individuals interested in applying to the 2022 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Call (call open 13 April 2022, call deadline 14 September 2022).

Postdoctoral Fellowships under MSCA

Postdoctoral Fellowships help experienced researchers advance their careers and gain new skills through training, international, intersectoral and international mobility. 

Postdoctoral Fellowships are aimed at researchers who are already in possession of a doctoral degree, and at the call deadline have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent research experience. Career breaks, time spent outside/not on research related activities, part-time working, time spent outside of EU (for reintegrating researchers), and refugee status will be taken into consideration. 

Aim of the webinar

The MSCA PF: Overview and Eligibility Rules webinar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the scheme, including the eligibility criteria. The event will include presentations from the MSCA Unit within the Research Executive Agency (REA), the MSCA NCPs and from a current MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship grantee.  

Who should attend?

The webinar is aimed at researchers and other staff in UK academic and non-academic organisations, including industries and SMEs, who are interested in the 2022 Postdoctoral Fellowship Call as a host organisation or potential supervisor. It is also intended for researchers from the UK, across Europe and beyond who intend to apply with a UK host institution.

Attendees are also strongly encouraged to attend Session 2: Practical Matters and Session 3: Process for Submission and Evaluation. Details are available on the UKRO MSCA portal pages.

This webinar will be delivered using the 'Zoom' online conference facility. No prior purchasing of software is necessary, but prior registration is mandatory. Please note that there will be scope to test the Zoom software prior to joining the webinar itself.
