The NIH Visiting Fellows Committee (VFC) would like you to invite you to the 11th NIH Visiting Fellows International Opportunities Expo that will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm in the NIH Clinical Center (Building 10) / FAES Terrace on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.
The NIH workforce is currently composed of 1600 foreign postdoctoral fellows (60% of the total number of postdoctoral fellows). These visiting fellows are seeking opportunities to network around the world, to get insights into foreign funding mechanisms, and to enlarge the perspective of global career options.
In that aim, our Visiting Fellows Committee organizes every two years this International Opportunities Expo, an informational career event that focuses on opportunities for Postdoctoral Fellows and Graduate Students interested in pursuing international science careers. During this event, fellows can meet and network with science and technology representatives to explore research, funding, and international career opportunities in several countries. Representatives from embassies, funding agencies, and globally minded science and health organizations will be on hand to answer questions and promote their programs and resources.
If you would like to attend this expo as an exhibitor, and possibly to give a brief (20 min) presentation about your organization, funding or employment opportunities, etc., that may be relevant to the attending fellows, please register here:
We are looking forward to meeting you at this Fall event.
