The Cockrell School of Engineering, in collaboration with EURAXESS, is hosting a ½ day information session on European funding opportunities for faculty and graduate student researchers on 15 February 2018 from 2:00-5:00 pm in EER 1.504.

The information session will include Opening Remarks, Introduction to Horizon 2020, the EU’s funding program for research and innovation, and presentations by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), the European Research Council (ERC) and EURAXESS, following by a Q&A session.

Fellowships, grants and collaboration opportunities are available to a wide range of scientists and engineers including undergraduates looking for PhD programs in Europe, PhD students looking for postdoctoral fellowships, and faculty interested in collaborating with European partners on research projects. Programs are also available where US institutions can host postdocs from Europe for a period of 2 years and other short term exchange possibilities.
