Arizona State University is hosting a Falling Walls Lab (FWL) this year through ASU's Global Futures Lab and Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service.

The science slam is open to students, entrepreneurs, early-career researchers, and academics of all disciplines. Which wall will your research break? Pitch your innovative idea in just three minutes, showcasing a breakthrough that creates a positive impact on science and society. FWL is an international forum for the next generation of outstanding innovators and creative thinkers; its aim is to promote exceptional ideas and to connect promising scientists and entrepreneurs from all fields on a global level. Participants get the opportunity to present their research work, business model, or initiative to peers, a high-caliber jury made up of experts from academia and business, and the general public.

The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. The competition will take place virtually on Thursday, September 29th, 2022. The lab is open to everyone (no restrictions based on place of residency or nationality). The event will be conducted in English.

The winner will win a travel package to Berlin, Germany to present at the Falling Walls Lab Finale on November 7th.
