Eleventh Annual Meeting of the European Scientific Diasporas in North America

EURAXESS North America, together with the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, will host the Eleventh Annual Meeting of the European Scientific Diasporas in North America. It will be held in Washington, DC on the evening of Tuesday, October 28th, 2025. 

This annual gathering brings together researchers, scientific diaspora networks, European embassies, North American institutions, research organizations, and more. The gathering serves as a vibrant platform to highlight the growing role of scientific diasporas and their contribution to strengthening transatlantic cooperation in research and innovation.

The meeting is designed for:

• Researchers in the U.S. and Canada interested in building or deepening connections with Europe.

• Scholars and professionals seeking information on European research grants to advance their careers.

• Academic leadership and research offices who want to learn more about European funding and collaboration opportunities for their institution’s faculty and student community.
