The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is one of the top life sciences research institutions in the world with sites in Grenoble, France; Heidelberg and Hamburg, Germany; Hinxton, UK; Rome, Italy; and Barcelona, Spain. The institute hosts an interdisciplinary Postdoctoral fellowship program: the EMBL Interdisciplinary Postdoc (EIPOD4) program, which receives funding from Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions COFUND (grant agreement number 847543).

EMBL and Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions COFUND will fund about 20 EIPOD Postdoctoral Fellowship positions involving at least two EMBL research groups. For more information on the fellowship program and to apply please visit: www.embl.org/eipod4

Interdisciplinarity forms the basis of EIPOD projects. Applicants are invited to design an interdisciplinary research project of their choice according to their scientific interests. Each project will have one scientific supervisor from EMBL who will officially host the EIPOD, but all projects will involve extensive collaboration with the EMBL partner

lab(s). External partners from academia, industry, clinics and museums are welcome to participate. EIPODs are based at an EMBL lab but may spend up to six months of their three-year fellowship in an external partner lab.

See here for more information. Deadline: September 9th, 2020.
