Norway - Call for International Partnerships for Excellent Education, Research and Innovation (INTPART)

The Research Council of Norway and the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills have announced a new call in the INTPART programme, where Brazil is one of the potential partner countries (with Canada, India, Japan, China, South Africa, South Korea and the USA). 


. The aims of INTPART is to develop lasting international partnerships that increase the quality of higher education and research in Norway, to have good links between higher education and research within the framework of the partnerships and collaboration with the labour and business sector to increase quality and relevance within the framework of the partnerships, where relevant. 

The call is thematically open, and the call primarily covers international collaboration activities. Examples of what can be funded is available in the call text.

Who is eligible to apply?

Only approved Norwegian research organisations are eligible to apply. See the list of approved research organisations.  

The INTPART project must have a partner that is a university, university college or other degree-conferring research institution in Brazil or any other partner country, with a named local contact person. To explore the possibility to joint project proposals, Brazilian institutions can contact Norwegian research colleagues. Examples of former INTPART-projects with Brazilian partners are available here.

Deadline: 30 April 2025, and projects shall have 48 months duration and have up to 5 million NOK (approx 2,5 million BRL) in budget.
