Postdoctoral Research “Ecotoxicology/Human hazard assessment” in Greece

The Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences, Foundation of Research and Technology - Hellas, (FORTH/ICE- HT) is seeking applicants to conduct research in the frame of the research project “Development and scaled Implementation of sAfe by design tools and Guidelines for multicOmponent aNd hArn nanomateriaLs», DIAGONAL, GA No 953152”, which is implemented under the H2020-NMBP-TO-IND-2018-2020 / H2020-NMBP-TO-IND-2020-two stage.

 

Job Description

To conduct experimental work on human toxicity assessment of Multicomponent Nanomaterials (MCNMs) and High Aspect Ratio Nanoparticles (HARNs), considering Nanomaterials (NMs) transformation, degradation and mixture effects. The job will also involve participation in the daily implementation of DIAGONAL project deliverables and preparation of reports to Project Coordinator and EC.

Location: FORTH/ICE-HT, Patras, Greece

Duration: up to 10 months, with the potential of renewal

Salary: up to approximately 2.200 € per month depending on qualifications (total cost of the employer, including social security and taxes)

Envisaged starting date: 01/11/2021

Requirements and Qualifications

The applicant should hold undergraduate B.S. or Diploma in Natural Sciences and a PhD in the area of Biochemistry. Experience in toxicological characterization of nanomaterials is strongly favored.

Candidates must be fluent in Greek and English language.

Selection Procedure
