PhD Fellowship “Development of electrocatalysts/electrodes for the investigation of the reversible electrolysis/fuel cell process on Solid Oxide high temperature cells”

The Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences, Foundation of Research and

Technology - Hellas, (FORTH/ICE-HT) is seeking applicants for one PhD

fellowship in the context of the research project “NewSOC – GA 874577:

Next Generation solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis technology”,

which is implemented under the Horizon 2020 Research Framework Programme and is financially supported from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking that receives support from

the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme and

Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Greece, Finland,

Estonia, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland.

 

Job Description

To conduct research in the framework of the project “NewSOC, GA: 874577:

Next Generation solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis technology”. The

aim of this research is to understand the degradation and lifetime

operation fundamentals of new-developed fuel electrodes under the high

(800 – 900 oC) temperature reversible H2O electrolysis/fuel cell operation.
