The IUBMB’s Wood-Whelan Research Fellowships facilitate scientific exchange by sponsoring young (graduate students / junior researchers under the age of 35) biochemists and molecular biologists’ visits to another laboratory for specific training purposes. The applicant must be from one of the IUBMB member countries (see full list of countries). The Fellowship provides up to 4000 USD funding over a period of 1-4 months. There are two application closing dates per year: April 1 and October 1.
