Are you thinking about getting published? Whether you have a promising idea, or you simply want to deepen your understanding of scholarly communication, this session will offer practical insider advice on all aspects of getting your research published in the future and what you can be thinking about now.

The session will incorporate invaluable information and advice on how to have the best chances of publishing your next journal article; as well as information on how to avoid common pitfalls.

We will cover topics from the peer review process and issues around copyright to making the most out of online publishing formats.

Come along to hear informative presentations, to ask questions, and to do some publishing networking.



Who should attend?

The session is open to early career researchers from all disciplines, in particular from Humanities and Social Sciences.

All participants will receive a webinar attendance certificate.

This webinar will take place on 2 August at 3:00-4:30pm IST. Please ensure you confirm the timing in the time zone where you are based!


Will participants be able to ask questions?

Webinar participants will be able to submit questions to the speakers during the webinar in writing via the Q&A function. Open questions will be addressed in a subsequent interactive Q&A session.

About the Speaker

Erato Basea, Portfolio Manager at Routledge, Taylor & Francis 

Erato has worked on Routledge’s Art and Design Journals since 2017 and on Sociology journals since 2018. Erato comes to this role with years of experience in academic publishing, having been author of academic work, peer reviewer, teaching fellow and postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University.
