New Round of FUNDING for joint INDIA-SPAIN Tech Development and Innovation projects

The present Call is launched in the frame of the Joint Program for Co-operation signed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI, Spanish Innovation Agency, belonging to the Ministry of Science and Innovation).
This Call (text attached) is inviting collaborative projects and open innovation alliances in following sectors of mutual interest both for Spain and India:

CleanTech (Renewable Energy, Water, Environmental)
-
Internet of Things (Smart Mobility, Smart Grids, Smart Cities,…)
-
Digital Health and Medical Devices
-
Agro-Food Technologies
-
*Any other sector of mutual interest
Proposals must be oriented to market-driven innovative product, process or service’s development or notable improvement.
Participation required at least from 1 Spanish company and 1 Indian company. Other R&D performing organizations are also encouraged to participate as per the guidelines of DST-GITA
Deadline for submissions is next 15th July, 2021.
Funding support conditions GITA, on behalf of DST, have been revised and improved:
Total project funding as a Grant (by DST) for Indian applicants is up to 50% with a limit of maximum of INR 150 lakhs per project.

Indian Industry may receive up to 50% of their part of the eligible costs on a “Reimbursement Basis”, for costs already incurred on a proportionate basis. Indian

R&D organization/academic institution may receive up to 100% of their costs (within applicable range specified above and as per proposal)
