About the Speaker
Massimo Spadoni is currently working as scientific attaché at the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi where he is responsible for the promotion of innovation and scientific cooperation. He is also a senior scientist at the Institute of Environmental Geology and Geoengineering in Rome (Italy) where he works in the field of environmental geochemistry, geochemical mapping and characterization of soils, rocks and water.
He is also specialized in spatial analysis using geographic information systems and geostatistics. He has worked on scientific projects on environmental quality in Argentina, Madagascar, India and China and has published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference proceedings.
