中欧联合实验室及研究机构研讨会 Workshop on Europe-China Joint Labs and Research Structures
Don‘t forget our EURAXESS Workshop on Europe-China Joint Labs and Research Structures. The event that will take place at the Italian Embassy in Beijing 25 September is for people that work within Joint Research Structures in China or Europe anybody else that has interest in the topic.
The aim is to build a platform for anybody involved in these kind of structures to meet each other and share experience, get the newest information on the state of affairs, including best cases and biggest challenges. The information obtained will be used to update Handbook on How to Establish Joint Research Structures, launch the directory of Joint Research Structures and to create policy recommendations.
走近科学：“星星的诞生、存续及死亡” Understanding Science: “Birth, Life and Death of Stars”
The next “Understanding Science” lecture will be in The Austrian Embassy (Jianguomenwai, Xiushui Nanjie 5, http://j.map.baidu.com/PL5YI (near subway station Yonganli, line 1)).
On Friday September 15 at 7:30 p.m., Professor Márcio Catelan (Pontificia Universidad Católica, Chile) will give a talk entitled "Birth, Life, and Death of Stars."
Stars, not unlike people, undergo a natural life cycle: they are born, become adults, grow old, and die. The speaker will speak from his own expertise to present an engaging overview of how this happens in practice, placing special emphasis on stars similar to our own Sun.

ERICENA科研寻伴之中国行ERICENA Matchmaking Tour in China
ERICENA - European Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence in ChiNA aims to promote European Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) interests and to reinforce the leadership of European countries in STI in China by connecting and supporting European researchers and entrepreneurs. ERICENA will be officially launched and setup in Beijing in October 2017 with a first regional Centre in Chengdu.

CEFC大会：“过往二十年：一国两制的香港变化及未来” CEFC Conference: "Twenty Years After: Hong Kong's Changes and Future under China's Rule"
This academic conference aims at analysing the major facets of Hong Kong’s transformations since its return to China in 1997 and assessing the present status and future of the “One Country, Two System” formula. The conference is organized by the Department of Government and International Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University and the French Center for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC). The conference will take place 21-27 September in the Council Chamber of the Shaw Campus of Hong Kong Baptist University.
