On November 3, EURAXESS China organized the first webinar of the series Mobility Compass fully dedicated to one single country: Spain.
EURAXESS China thanks the two speakers of the webinar for their great contribution to its success: Xavier Eekhout Chicharro of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and EURAXESS Spain and Antonio Molina, Director of the Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics UPM and Executive Director of SOMMa.
Thanks to the presence of the two experts, the audience learned a lot about public and private calls for the recruitment of researchers currently available in Spain at the European, State and Regional levels, classified by the different career stages. The speakers also touched on the topic of collaborations between Chinese and Spanish institutions, presenting some examples of fruitful collaborations, as well as some international programmes for scientific cooperation between the two countries. The SOMM Alliance of Excellence and its talent attraction programmes were also introduced.
The webinar closed after a 45 minutes Q&A session where the audience engaged the speakers in many questions.
