Webinar on Peer Review - with Taylor & Francis [in Chinese]

In this webinar, organized in cooperation with Taylor & Francis, we will offer a training on how you can become an excellent peer reviewer. No matter if you will be reviewing your peers on regular basis, or are interested to understand better the peer review process to be more successful at getting published, this webinar is for you.

Participants in this webinar can expect to learn about the essentials of effective peer reviewing, including:

• Overview of different types of peer review,
• The responsibilities of a peer reviewer,
• How to critically assess an article and write an effective report,
• What to do if you have a concerns about the article you are reviewing

The webinar will take place on Monday 10 October 2022 16:00 (Beijing time) and is open to all registered participants. The webinar is for free. Please note, the webinar language will be Chinese.

Jia Yang

Taylor & Francis集团研究发展和外展经理

Jia在学术刊物出版发展领域工作多年。她在国内外学术交流合作领域有着丰富的经验。目前，她就职于Taylor & Francis集团，负责同行评审合作项目，致力于提高刊物评审效率以及刊物同行评审的公平度和透明度。在投身于出版界之前，她曾在清华大学和佐治亚理工学院攻读博士学位，并担任研究助理。她已发表十余篇SCI论文，引用频次超过600。

MEET THE TRAINER

Jia Yang

Research Develop & Outreach Manager in Taylor & Francis Group

Jia has been worked in the publication development of academic journals for many years. She has rich experience in academic exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad. Currently she is working in Taylor & Francis Publishing Group, responsible for peer review cooperation projects, committed to improving journal review efficiency and enhancing the fairness and transparency of journal peer review. Before working in publishing, she studied for a Ph.D. and worked as a research assistant at Tsinghua University and Georgia Institute of Technology. She has published more than ten SCI papers with over 600 citations.
