During the Forum for European Researchers in China, that is part of the European Research & Innovation Days China which will take place at the European Delegation in Beijing on 24 and 25 June, we are organising a hybrid activity to give the opportunity to participate also to all European researchers normally based in China who are now in Europe due to restrictions related to Covid-19.
All European researchers normally working in China are welcome to register!
On Friday 25 June, from 8:45 to 11:30 CEST (or 14:45-17:30 China time) researchers from different EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries will meet online and offline to discuss different research topics.
We will have 12 groups of researchers from different countries – six online and six offline – organised around six research themes sharing work experiences in their field at Chinese research institutions.
This activity will be hybrid: for each research topic we will have an online group, formed by researchers connecting from Europe (or unable to travel to Beijing from different areas of China), and an offline group, formed by the researchers who will be at the European Delegation in Beijing participating to the European Research & Innovation Days China.
The researchers who will participate in the online activity will discuss with the colleagues of their research group also in online connection, and then with the group of researchers of the same sector who will be physically together in Beijing.
The activity will be concluded by Philippe Vialatte, Counsellor, Head of Science & Technology Section EU Delegation to China, who will provide final remarks.
If you are a European researcher who normally resides in China but unable to travel to Beijing and would like to participate in the online activity from Europe, register now!
Please DO NOT register to this online event if you are participating to the physical event in Beijing.
