European Grants for Researchers in Social Sciences and Humanities
with relevance to researchers in all fields

in cooperation with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, GECEM, Marie Curie Alumni Association and the Spanish Consulate in Shanghai
The second event in the Grants in Practice series in China will offer an experience sharing activity to China based researchers that are interested in applying for grants in Europe, with a special focus on the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. The event will present testimonies from researchers in those fields with experience of European grants. The information is still relevant to researchers from all the fields of research; such as Physicial Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences in addition to the Social Sciences and Humanities. The emphasis will be on practical tips and recommendations.

The event will take place 9 November 2018 from 09:00-12:00 at Room 300 (Conference Hall) on the third floor of the School of Foreign Languages at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Minhang Campus. Find the Minhang campus here on Baidu maps: https://j.map.baidu.com/hLyT2.
The nearest gate is the Bigger South Gate (南大门) facing Dong Chuan Road (东川路). Nearest metro station is Dongchuanlu station on line 5 (东川路站). See the map of campus below:
The building is the Building of the School of Freign Languages (外语大楼). Please note that the main entrance is facing west towards the Yuan Pei Lu (元培路) on campus (see map below). The conference hall is on 3rd floor.
