The situation in Shanghai has led to changes in the plan when it comes to the Forum of European Researchers in China. The event will take place only on Friday, November 11th, starting at 13:30 China time.

The Forum for European Researchers in China will take place this year again on November 11th.The event will be hybrid, taking place online and at the German Centre in Shanghai.
This year's Forum will include some joint sessions to discuss thematics of interest to the European researchers working in China, and also some sessions where reseaerchers will split into Thematic Networks to focus on the issues relative to their research field.
All researchers from Europe that are normally based in China are invited to register to the event and indicate if they intend to participant online or physically. Not all sessions will be hybrid: please check the agenda below to see which sessions will take place only on site. The organiser offers to cover the travel and accomodation costs for those China-based travelling from outside Shanghai. While we hope there will be no mobility issues for researchers traveling to Shanghai, we cannot take any responsibility for any disturbances caused by COVID-related policies or other force majeure.
This event is for researchers that are based in China and are citizens of member states of the European Union and countries associated to Horizon Europe.
The event is organised by the Delegation of the European Union in China, through the EU-China Partnership Facility, and co-organised by EURAXESS China, in cooperation with the Scientific Diaspora Networks of EU member states in China.
