How do YOU do open science?

About

Open Science Sharing Session Header

The registration for this event is closed. Please email china@euraxess.net to be added to the waitlist.

Open science is a major science policy goal. It is also a requirement for researchers applying for funding.
But how do you actually do open science? What practices increase the openness of your research? And what are you missing, what else do you need to make your research process even more open?
EURAXESS China invites researchers from any field to join a sharing session to explore the questions as a community of researchers working in China. Whether you are a pro with tons of code published on your GitHub account or a newbie exploring the best options for depositing your dissertation date, we can all learn from each other.

EURAXESS China is organizing this event to promote networking and mutual learning among Chinese and international researchers based and working in China.

To facility the discussion, we can refer to the recently published “Update of the Study on the readiness of research data and literature repositories to facilitate compliance with the Open Science Horizon Europe MGA requirements” by Emma Lazerri. Participants are also encouraged to read “Open Science in China: An Open or Closed Case?” by Annina Lattu and Wei, Y., Liu, X., Chen, X., & Chang, R. article "构筑开放科学行动路线图把握开放科学发展机遇".

This event will be conducted in English, with discussions in Chinese and English. Consider bringing a computer for sharing your work or viewing other's.

Light brunch and refreshments will be served.

为了促进讨论,我们将参考最近发布的“Update of the Study on the readiness of research data and literature repositories to facilitate compliance with the Open Science Horizon Europe MGA requirements”,作者为 Emma Lazerri。参与者还鼓励阅读Annina Lattu 的 “Open Science in China: An Open or Closed Case?”,杨卫,刘细文,黄金霞,等《构筑开放科学行动路线图把握开放科学发展机遇》。
