THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSPONED TO 17 DECEMBER!
Due to the recent safety measures introduced after the new Covid-19 cases found in Shanghai, EURAXESS China has decided to postpone the European Researchers’ Night to Thursday December 17, 18:00-21:00, from the original date of November 27.
We expect to keep the original format of hybrid event, combining a get together in downtown Shanghai and online participation. If the situation will not allow, the event will be held entirely online.
EURAXESS China is organising an event on the occassion of the 2020 European Researchers’ Night on December 17, 18:00-21:00.
In the spirit of the European Researchers’ Night – initiative of the MSCA funded by the European Commission – the European researchers in China will be invited to introduce their research to the online and offline public of Chinese and European researchers.
The event will be a hybrid science communication and networking event, to be held in Shanghai with European and Chinese researchers who can attend on site, and also online for those who are not in Shanghai that day. The event will be broadcast entirely in live streaming on numerous platforms.
Researchers in Shanghai and European researchers normally residing in China are invited to participate!
How is it organised?
ON-SITE IN SHANGHAI:
The event will be held at WeWork coworking space in downtown Shanghai, in the evening of Friday 27 November from 18:00 to 20:30.
We will have a nice space with drinks and snacks, ideal for chatting and meeting new people. During the evening, we will listen to the research activities carried out by European researchers in different sectors and research institutes.

ONLINE WHEREVER YOU ARE:
The event will see the online participation of speakers, who will be shown live on a screen during the event, as well as on different online platforms. In this way, European researchers who are currently in Europe or who cannot attend the Shanghai event will be allowed to give their presentations almost as if they were physically present at the event.
The event will be broadcast on different platforms. Stay tuned to follow the live stream!
