EURAXESS Grants in Practice China 2019 was held yesterday afternoon in the Star Conference room of the university library of Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi'an, Shanxi province.
EURAXESS Grants in Practice China is 2.5 hour long training session introducing in detail funding opportunitites open to China based researchers and Chinese institutions in the European Research Area, including the funding programmes of the European Union but also with discussion about the research schemes of individual EU Member States and Associated Countries. The event put a special focus on the Marie Curie Individual Fellowships that is a annual mobility programme funded by the European Union popular with Chinese researchers.

In addition to the training session of the EURAXESS Country Representative the session also included a special testamony from Dr Li Tiancheng, a Marie Curie fellow and a resident of Xi'an.
The event was organised by EURAXESS China and co-organised by Xi'an Jiaotong University and the China chapter of Marie Curie Alumni Association.
