Organised by swissnex Brazil, the webinar Virtual Mobility: Initiatives and best practices for a worldwide virtual mobility, will count with EURAXESS LAC's moderation.

The development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) enabled the creation of educational programs without spatial or temporal limitations, which have allowed greater access to specialised content. In the current context of crisis and urgency, the face-to-face educational model has been suddenly transposed to a virtual setting. At the same time, there’s room to improve and to take full advantage of the potential offered by ICT.

Virtual mobility enables cultural exchanges, the transfer of resources between countries and the establishment of knowledge networks without having to travel between countries. However, virtual mobility still faces challenges that require the use and creation of technological tools to allow an enriching and trustful experience that permits the students to share the experiences mobility can offer fully.

The objective of this webinar is to discuss the future of virtual mobility and cooperation in education, exploring the already existing best practices. The intercontinental diversity of speakers enables a discussion on inclusive internationalisation and the possibility of establishing an international accreditation system.
