Two new Horizon 2020 National Contact Points (NCPs) in health were recently appointed at Fiocruz. They are Prof. Rodrigo Correa-Oliveira and Prof. Manoel Barral-Neto, both at Osvaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) in Rio de Janeiro.
The network of National Contact Points (NCPs) is the main source of guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in Horizon 2020.
« Health NCPs are individuals nominated by their governments with the mandate to spread awareness, provide specialist advice and on-the ground guidance on Health research funding opportunities within Horizon 2020 and ensuring that the programme is readily accessible to all potential applicants. Health NCPs can guide anyone interested in applying for European funding in health research to identify the right call, guide and support [them] through the different stages of an application. »
