Tour of Brazil event at FAUBAI Conference 2017

EURAXESS Brazil coordinated a Tour of Brazil event at the FAUBAI Conference 2017. The aim was to present European collaboration opportunities for Brazilians HEIs, researchers and students and to introduce these to international managers of Brazilian Higher Education institutions (HEIs).

The Tour of Brazil event included two sessions:

This session focused on cooperation and mobility opportunities under European Commission programmes, and was complemented by a training session on How to host Marie Sklodowska Curie research fellows for up to two years. The possibility is given through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie action individual fellowship / global fellowship. The call opened on 11 April 2017.

This session consisted of a roundtable discussion with participation of EU member states and associated countries representatives to present best practices and discuss EU-Brazil HEIs cooperation: results and concrete opportunities.

The Tour of Brazil event is a joint effort of the European Commission and the representatives of Member States and Associated Countries in Brazil, with a specific interest in promoting the visibility of European research and the potential of EU-Brazil cooperation in ST&I.

The objective is to make the EU ST&I landscape, European Research and its Innovation programmes more visible to Brazilian stakeholders, aiming to open avenues for new EU-Brazil contacts and cooperation, as well as strengthening bilateral relations.

The overall coordination of the Tour is ensured by the EU Delegation in Brasilia. The FAUBAI proposal is coordinated by EURAXESS Brazil.
