The Probral programme, a partnership between the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and CAPES (Brazilian Federal Agency for Post-graduate Education) to fund joint bilateral research projects, is seeking to develop the scientific cooperation between Brazil and Germany. It includes the training of post-graduate researchers and the training of teachers through financing PhD and post-doc mobility.
The programme will benefit 30 projects to receive grants for a 2 year period (being allowed to be renewed for more 2 years), starting from January 2022.
The support is targeted on working missions and material acquisition for the projects, as well as PhD and post-doc “sandwich” scholarships.
How to apply?
- Brazilian researchers/professors must submit a candidacy to CAPES
- German researchers/professors must submit a candidacy to the DAAD
