Do not miss the Falling Walls Lab Brazil Finals! Watch it online on 17 September, 16:00-19:00
During this live online event, one Brazilian with the most transformative idea will be selected to compete in the world stage of the Falling Walls competition, organised by the Falling Walls Foundation, in Berlin.
This year, both the Brazilian stage, organised by the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) São Paulo, and the global stage will be conducted in an online environment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
There will be 15 pre-selected candidates for the national finals in Brazil. The projects focus on topics such as food waste, atmospheric pollution, plastic packaging recycling, agricultural insurance, 3D printing and sanitation.
Each candidate will have three minutes to present, in a video pitch in English, the relevance and transformational power of their proposal. Then, live and online, the candidate clarifies the jury's doubts. Comprised of experts from academia, the press, the business community and the innovation ecosystem, the jury will make the assessment based on three criteria: innovative character, relevance and impact of the proposal and communication skills.
To watch FWL Brazil finals and even vote for your favorite candidate, just enter DWIH São Paulo's YouTube channel on 17 September, 16:00-19:00 (no need to register beforehand): https://youtu.be/DtoGgdBtFiUO.
