Cooperação Brasil-União Europeia em Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação no contexto do Horizon 2020 e perspectivas no Horizon Europe, CNPq, Brasília, 4 de dezembro, 8h30-18h30

Estão abertas as inscrições para evento que discutirá os dez anos da cooperação internacional em Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação entre o Brasil e a União Europeia. Podem participar representantes dos departamentos de relações internacionais das Instituições de Ensino Superior e da comunidade de inovação em geral. As palestras e discussões serão realizadas em 4 de dezembro, a partir das 8h30, no auditório do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), em Brasília.

Recentemente, a cooperaçao Brasil-UE foi reforçada por um acordo administrativo assinado entre a Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, o Conselho Nacional das Fundações de Amparo à Pesquisa (Confap), o CNPq e a Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos (Finep).

O objetivo do evento é apresentar o que foi desenvolvido nos últimos dez anos em termos de cooperação internacional e disseminar as oportunidades no âmbito do Horizon 2020. Além disso, as discussões visam traçar futuros caminhos de cooperação a partir do programa, ainda em construção, Horizon Europe. Entre as atividades programadas para o evento, que contará com a participação de representantes da Comissão Europeia, está uma mesa redonda com as agências de fomento, além de apresentação dos mecanismos de cofinanciamento do Brasil e de boas práticas de cooperação no contexto do H2020.

Durante a tarde será realizado um Training Camp, que visa abordar como os esquemas brasileiros de cofinanciamento de apoio aos programas de pesquisa europeus podem se alinhar com as oportunidades de cooperação internacional oferecidas pelo programa Horizon 2020. EURAXESS Brazil apresentará às 17h. O evento é apoiado pelo projeto H2020 Incobra, que visa a orientar, aumentar e aprimorar as atividades de cooperação em atores de Pesquisa e Inovação do Brasil e da União Europeia.

A sessão da manhã do evento será realizada em inglês e português e contará com serviços de tradução, já a sessão da tarde será realizada em português.

BR-EU International cooperation in STI under Horizon 2020 and perspectives in Horizon Europe, CNPq, Brasília, 4 December, 08:30-18:30

International Cooperation between Brazil and the European Union in Science, Technology and Innovation has recently celebrated ten years of successful targets jointly achieved, and has been moreover reinforced by a newly signed Administrative Agreement between the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, the Brazilian National Council of State Funding Agencies - CONFAP, the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq and the Brazilian Funding Agency for Studies and Projects - FINEP.

This international event intends to showcase EU-Brazil strategic cooperation in STI and disseminate existing opportunities under the framework of Horizon 2020, tracing future cooperation pathways under the Horizon Europe programme. The programme will count with the participation of high representatives from the European Commission, and of the Brazilian State and Federal Funding Agencies and is open to the participation of representatives of Higher Education Institutions international affairs units and the research and innovation community in general.

The afternoon session - or training Camp - aims at addressing how Brazilian co-funding schemes may be better synchronized to international cooperation opportunities within Horizon 2020. EURAXESS Brazil will be presented at 17:00

The event is supported by the H2020 INCOBRA project “Increasing International Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Brazil and the European Union”.
