Ms. Cristina Gómez Corchete
Ms. Cristina Gómez Corchete is a seasoned expert in European research and mobility programmes, currently serving as Project Coordinator for EURAXESS Worldwide, a global initiative of the European Commission supporting researcher mobility and collaboration. With over 20 years of experience at the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT), she has played a central role in advancing international research careers and institutional participation in EU programmes. From 2014 to 2024, she served as Spain’s National Contact Point and delegate for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), where she advised applicants, promoted the programme internationally, and represented Spain in European policy discussions. Her extensive experience includes coordinating the EURAXESS initiative at national level and contributing to major EU framework projects, positioning her as a key figure in fostering global research collaboration and mobility.
Dr Madeline Taylor
Dr Madeline Taylor’s research exploring contemporary costume practice draws on 20 years of experience in live performance costuming and was the focus of her 2025 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Film, at Aalto University. Here, her project explored technological innovation in costume practice. She received her PhD from University of Melbourne, and her thesis is the basis for her recent monograph Costumers at Work: Collaborative Creativity, Emotional Labour and Technical Skill in Costume Makingpublished by Routledge in 2025. A Senior Lecturer in Fashion at Queensland University of Technology, she is Chair of ScenoLab Australia, co-director of The Stitchery Collective, and co-leader of QUT's TextileR research group. Other research interests include sustainability practices enabled by digital gift economies and alternative modes of engaging with, consuming, and displaying, fashion and clothing. In Australia, she lives and works on unceded Turrbal and Yuggera lands.
