EU Funding and Collaboration Opportunities at Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation

EURAXESS Worldwide Country Representative for Australia & New Zealand, Mr Nishant Shandilya was invited by Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation to speak about Horizon Europe, on 1 July 2025, to researchers from social sciences and humanities disciplines.

The online session focused primarily on the EU Framework Programme - Horizon Europe and delved deeper into Pillar I (Excellent Science) and Pillar II (Global Challenges). Details on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), European Research Council (ERC) Grants, ERC's Implementing Arrangements with NHMRC & ARC as well as NHMRC-EU Collaborative Research Grant Scheme were discussed. A high-level overview of Pillar II was also presented, with particular focus on Cluster 2 (Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society), to showcase how and what involvement in collaborative research grants would entail.

If you are interested to have a similar European Funding Session at your research institution/university, please send us an email at australianz@euraxess.net, to book a slot in our calendar.
