EURAXESS ASEAN will offer a Grants in Practice session at the ASEAN Emerging Researchers Conference (ASEAN ERC). This is an official flagship programme of the ASEAN Young Scientists Network. Details of the conference programme and registration is available here.

The European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) support research training and career development focused on innovation skills. The programme funds worldwide and cross-sector mobility that implements excellent research in any field. There are MSCA grants for all stages of a researcher's career, from PhD candidates to highly experienced researchers.

The EURAXESS ASEAN Grants in Practice session will provide detailed information on the eligibility and application criteria for the MSCA Individual Fellowships (IF) and the MSCA Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE).

Registration for this session will be opened shortly.

MSCA- Individual Fellowships (IF) are a great option if you are an experienced researcher looking to give your career a boost by working abroad. They offer exciting new learning opportunities and a chance to add some sparkle to your CV. This grant is for experienced researchers from across the world. Applicants need a doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience by the time of the call deadline. All research areas can be funded. MSCA Fellows come from a wide variety of disciplines – from physics to linguistics, and from health-sciences to mathematical modelling. This is one of Europe’s most competitive and prestigious awards. The generous annual budget includes funding for salary, mobility costs, research costs, and a contribution to the overhead costs of their host organisation. The next call for application will open on 8 April 2020 with a deadline of 9 September 2020.

MSCA - Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) funds short-term exchanges of personnel between academic, industrial and commercial organisations throughout the world. It helps people develop their knowledge, skills and careers, while building links between organisations working in different sectors of the economy, including universities, research institutes and SMEs. MSCA-RISE offers an opportunity to expand and strengthen research networks, to share knowledge and skills, and to strengthen institutional links with Europe. The next call for application will open on 5 December 2019 with a deadline of 8 April 2020.
