Webinar: Transnational & Virtual Access Opportunities at EU Research Infrastructures

About

Recording of E-READI webinar poster

Transnational Access (TNA) gives researchers short-term access to top research facilities, labs, and data in other countries — either onsite or remotely — to boost international collaboration and innovation.

This interactive workshop on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, helped researchers find out how they can access leading European research infrastructures and strengthen EU-ASEAN scientific partnerships. Participants learnt how to use world-class labs, advanced equipment, and unique datasets to drive innovation and tackle global challenges together!

The event was organised by E-READI in collaboration with the ASEAN Regional Research Infrastructure Task Force and RICH Europe.

Workshop Highlights

Introduction to Transnational Access (TNA) Opportunities: Understanding how TNA enables researchers in ASEAN to use facilities and resources beyond their home institutions.

Spotlight on European Research Infrastructures in Environment and Climate Research: Discovering opportunities in environment and climate research with ACTRIS, IRISCC, ICOS, and EIRENE.

Practical Guidance: Getting step-by-step advice on how to apply for these opportunities and learn about available support.

Q&A Session: Engaging directly with experts and get your questions answered.
