In collaboration with the EU Delegation to Vietnam, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Vietnam is organising the hybrid event "Open Science: Current Trends and the Role of International Cooperation in Promoting Research in Vietnam" on 2 December 2024. The conference will take place at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology  at 113 Tran Duy Hung Street and on Zoom.

HE Bui The Duy, Deputy Minister, MOST and Mr Jonathan Baker, UNESCO Representative in Vietnam, will deliver the Opening Remarks. Expert speakers include Dr Ezra Clark, Head of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, UNESCO; Dr Javier Lopez Albacete, Open Science and Research Infrastructure Unit, European Commission; Mr Dao Manh Thang, Deputy Director General, National Agency for Science and Technology Information, MOST; and Assoc Prof Dr Dinh Van Trung, Director, Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
