The event will selectively showcase ongoing research, innovation collaborations and expert exchange programs involving either academia and/or industry partners from Spain and Southeast Asian countries. The selected partnerships will focus on areas like urban and food (fisheries, aquaculture) sustainability, bioeconomy (fungi-based biopesticides, bioplastics, forest) and environment (waste treatment).
Besides sharing previous or ongoing STI engagements with Southeast Asian counties, Spanish STI stakeholders will put forward emerging areas where they could be interested in initiating new collaborative R&D projects and tech-alliances with Southeast Asian partners.
The session will be inaugurated by H.E. Santiago Miralles, Ambassador of Spain to Singapore and feature the participation of Mr. Javier Ponce, DG CDTI – Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain.
To jumpstart the Horizon Europe Launch Event in ASEAN: Information and Partnering Brokerage happening from 28-30 June 2021, this Meet my Lab session is aimed at showcasing best practices and opportunities for collaboration with EU Member States, in particular, Spain.
This session is coordinated by the Embassy of Spain in Singapore and CDTI-Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain with the support EURAXESS ASEAN.
