The Southeast Asia-Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation (JFS) is an instrument for the funding of bi-regional research and innovation projects. The Joint Call for Proposals of Innovation in the thematic area of Bioeconomy (incl. application of ICT-based technologies) is now open with a deadline of 15 January 2021.
To support researchers interested in responding to this call, the bioeconomy-focused 4th Virtual JFS Matchmaking Event is being organized. The event will provide information about the Southeast Asia – Europe Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) as well as the currently open Bioeconomy Innovation Joint Call for Proposals.
The participating countries in the Bioeconomy Call are: Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Spain, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Are you from a participating Southeast Asian or European country listed above and interested in submitting a proposal for the 2020 Innovation Joint Call in Bioeconomy? Are you still looking for project partners?

The selected speakers will get a 15 minute presentation slot (10min Power Point Presentation + 5min questions) at our Virtual JFS Matchmaking Event on 23 November 2020.
This matchmaking event follows the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2020 and the “ASEAN Innovation Roadmap & Bioeconomy Forum”. You are welcome to join these events. Details here.

About the ASEAN Innovation Roadmap and Bioeconomy Forum
The JFS Virtual Matchmaking Event is being organised as part of the ASEAN Innovation Roadmap and Bioeconomy Forum. This Forum aims to showcase potential of ASEAN as a powerhouse of innovation and bio-based industry. This event will be held in conjunction with the Global Bioeconomy Summit (GBS) 2020 which Thailand is co-hosting. The Global Bioeconomy Summit is the world’s leading international conference that facilitates the discussion, information sharing and promotion of bioeconomy. GBS serves as an important platform to drive bioeconomy policy through international collaboration.
