Master Training in African Innovation Leadership for Sub-Saharan Africa

AIL

The Master in African Innovation Leadership (AIL) is a premier training initiative aimed at strengthening local innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship across sub-Saharan Africa, encompassing countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, and Tanzania. This transformative journey is specifically designed for aspiring young African leaders who are eager to drive change and promote development throughout the continent.

The AIL program presents a unique opportunity to delve into the realm of innovation, equipping participants with vital skills, knowledge, and networks to unlock their entrepreneurial potential. With a focus on three primary objectives—encouraging youth entrepreneurship, enhancing the innovation management capabilities of academic institutions, and cultivating multisectoral partnerships for innovation—AIL empowers participants to devise impactful solutions to contemporary challenges. Key sectors of focus include agriculture and food, energy, digitalization, circular economy, and manufacturing.

Supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the AIL Master is a collaborative initiative between Politecnico di Milano and the E4Impact Foundation.

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers full financial support to 40 admitted candidates.
